If you're a gamer or esports fan in Malaysia, you've witnessed firsthand how explosive this industry's growth has been in recent years. From Mobile Legends Bang Bang (MLBB) matches at MPL Malaysia drawing hundreds of thousands of viewers, to international tournaments like The International DOTA 2 with its multi-million-dollar prize pools – esports is no longer just a hobby. It's a serious industry, and G9King is taking it further by offering Malaysian players the most comprehensive esports betting platform available.
G9king understands that Malaysia's esports community is a very different audience from traditional sports bettors. Esports players tend to be younger, more tech-savvy, and have deep knowledge of the games they follow. That's why g9king built its esports section with an intuitive interface, detailed match information, and betting markets that reflect a genuine understanding of each game.
No game holds a closer place in the heart of Malaysia's esports community than Mobile Legends Bang Bang. MPL Malaysia (Mobile Legends Professional League) is one of the most-watched esports leagues in Southeast Asia, featuring teams like Team HAQ, Todak, GEEK Fam, RSG MY and many more with fiercely passionate fanbases.
At g9king, every MPL Malaysia and M-Series (MLBB World Championship) match gets full betting coverage. You can bet on the overall match winner, the winner of each individual game, first blood, first tower, total kills in a game, and many other markets built specifically for MLBB. In-play betting is also available — place bets while the match is live based on how the game unfolds in real time.
DOTA 2 is one of the highest prize pool games in esports history. The International, DOTA 2's annual championship, has offered prize pools exceeding USD 40 million at its peak — making it the most lucrative esports tournament of all time. g9king provides full betting markets for every stage of The International, Majors, and DOTA 2 regional leagues.
DOTA 2 betting at G9King offers an exceptionally deep range of markets, including match winner, tournament winner, total kills, first blood, first Roshan kill, map handicap, and much more. For players who closely follow the game's meta and team strategies, this is a real opportunity to put that knowledge to work.
Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) is a tactical shooter that has been around for over two decades and remains one of the most popular esports titles for betting. ESL Pro League, BLAST Premier, and Major Championships are among the most prestigious CS2 tournaments, and g9king provides full coverage of all these events with detailed markets.
Valorant burst onto the scene and quickly won over the global FPS community after its launch in 2020. The VCT (Valorant Champions Tour) now runs active regional leagues, including VCT Pacific which features teams from Southeast Asia. g9king keeps a close eye on Valorant and offers a growing range of betting markets for the title.
There are several reasons why Malaysia's esports community is increasingly choosing g9king over other platforms. First, g9king takes esports seriously — this isn't just a side feature tacked onto a sports betting platform. We offer deep markets, fast odds updates, and in-play betting for almost every major esports match.
Second, depositing at g9king is straightforward using the everyday local payment methods Malaysians already rely on. Whether it's Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, DuitNow, FPX, Boost or ShopeePay – all accepted with a minimum deposit as low as RM 30. Funds arrive within 2–5 minutes so you never miss the start of a match.
On top of that, G9King offers a welcome bonus that can be used exclusively for esports betting, along with periodic promotions tied to major tournaments such as The International DOTA 2, MPL Malaysia, and VCT Pacific. This adds real value for players who actively follow the esports scene.

"I've been following MPL Malaysia since Season 1 and waited a long time for a platform that takes MLBB betting seriously. g9king has detailed markets — first blood, total kills, game handicap, all of it. Depositing with TnG is super easy. Won RM 2,200 during the finals!"
"Been playing DOTA 2 for 8 years but only started betting on g9king about a year ago. The International markets are genuinely comprehensive. I focus on match winner and total kills — the two markets I'm most confident in. Overall, a great experience!"
